A old photo is a treasure, but in our world we can't always have a climate controlled room to store our photos. And things happen, they get torn, spilled on, you name it. All is not lost, with the miracle of the computer, we can scan, restore and make new prints for you. Also the true 'museum type' restoration is available but in my opinion, very costly. It all depends on what kind of image you have and what you need done.
For a copy negative with no retouching we charge a fee of $4.00 and from there we can make prints at our regular print prices (see print prices). Color or Black and white and from any size. Very small prints are difficult to work with and to maintain a level of quality, however we can work with them.
Digital retouching prices will vary, it depends on the condition of the print and how much time it will take to restore the print. Even with the computer the process can be time consuming. Prices start at $20.00 that will include the scan, retouch and new negative, then reprints our at our regular prices (see print prices). In most cases we prefer to see the print to be restored and then quote you a price.
We can also colorize an old black and white photo, the minimum charge for colorization is $40.00. That would include the scanning, colorizing and new negative.
